A South Coventry man was sentenced to three to six years in a state correctional facility after pleading guilty to multiple robbery charges, and a burglary charge, in a crime spree that occurred between July 22 and August 3, 2011, in Montgomery, Chester and Delaware Counties. The man pleaded guilty to the charges in Montgomery County before President Judge William J. Furber.

The man, who was only 18 years old at the time of the crimes,  stole a 2004 Audi TT on July 22, 2011, from outside a home in East Nantmeal and used the Audi as a getaway car during a July 30 armed robbery at the Kiwi Yogurt store in the Providence Town Center in Upper Providence. The man appeared to be carrying a machine gun-type weapon. The man held up a pizza shop in Radnor before eventually being apprehended.
